Rooster Feathers

Feathers from roosters can be divided into the following categories : Cocktails, Cock Neck Hackles, Cock Saddles, Cock Schlappen, Chicken and Back Feathers.

Cocktails
------------
Sizes range from 4-16" up. Normally the 4-10" Cocktail Feathers are strung in 2" intervals, i.e. 4-6", 6-8", 8-10". The 10-16" up Cocktail Feathers are normally loose bundled in 2" intervals, i.e. 10-12", 12-14", 14-16" and 16" up.

Cocktail Feathers have their natural colors in White, Black, Half-bronze (black with brown edges) and Mixed (chinchilla and other colors). They can also be dyed in various colors to suit different applications.

Cock Neck Hackles

Sizes range from 1-7" with the largest proportion at 3-6". Besides the 1-3" short feathers which are loose bundled, all the other sizes are normally strung. Regular strung sizes are 2.5-4.5", 2.5-5", 3-5", 3-5.5", 3-6", 4-6", 5-6" and 6" up.

Cock Neck Hackle Feathers have their natural colors in White, Black, Red (brown) and Mixed (chinchilla, badger and other colors). They can also be dyed in various colors to suit different applications.

Cock Saddles

Sizes range from 2-9" with the largest proportion at 3-6". Normally all Saddles Feathers are strung. Regular strung sizes are 2-4", 2.5-4.5", 2.5-5", 3-5", 3-5.5", 3-6", 4-6", 5-6", 6-7" and 7" up.

Similar to Neck Hackle Feathers, Cock Saddles Feathers have their natural colors in White, Black, Red (brown) and Mixed (chinchilla, badger and other colors). They can also be dyed in various colors to suit different applications.

Cock Schlappen

Sizes range from 3-10" with the largest proportion at 4-7". Normally all Schlappen Feathers are strung. Regular strung sizes are 3-4", 4-6", 6-8" and 8" up.

Cock Schlappen Feathers have their natural colors in White, Black, Half-bronze, Red (brown) and Mixed (chinchilla and other colors). They can also be dyed in various colors to suit different applications.

Chicken and Back Feathers
----------------------------------
Sizes range from 1-5" with largest proportion at 2-4". They are normally strung at the size of 2-4".

Natural colors include White, Black, Half-bronze, Red (brown) and Mixed for Chicken Feathers and White, Red (brown) and Mixed for Back Feathers. They can also be dyed in various colors to suit different applications.
